BRISBANE METRO
The Brisbane Metro project, ‘Brisbane Move’ is delivering a new era of transport for Brisbane. This visionary project includes construction of a tunnel in Adelaide Street, a new active transport connection at North Quay and the redesign and upgrade of Brisbane’s Cultural Precinct while expanding the busway network to reduce congestion within the CBD.
ACCIONA together with Arup were selected by Brisbane City Council to design and build a rapid transit system consisting of high-frequency, high-capacity bi-articulated electric vehicles that will provide more travel options with easy links to bus and train services. Building a new and improved transport infrastructure for Brisbane.
We here at 1300TempFence are proud to be aiding the Brisbane Move project. With multiple sites across Brisbane, all with their own
unique challenges, our Queensland branch have successfully supplied engineer certified and council approved solutions to suit the different wind strength ratings across the many sites. Utilising both our hire and sales divisions we have supplied this project with over 1.86km of engineered spec fencing and sold over 270 crowd control barriers plus much more. Working in conjunction with Signage HQ we have provided branded custom mesh banner to promote this project across the city, while retaining safety and security at the multiple sites.

Estimated project completion date – Estimated late 2023 for Stage 1.
No. of sites we have delivered to – 15 project sites across Brisbane.
No. of deliveries – 37 separate deliveries to date.
Meterage delivered – 1.86km of Engineered Spec Fence (both 64km and 86km spec engineered spec fence). 1.42km of Crowd Control Barriers.
